As it happens, Boardgame Babylon has won the 2007 Board Game Internet Award for Best Podcast/Videocast. I'm deeply honored that the show could win in a field with so many great shows.

Thanks to all the terrific and clearly discerning folks that voted on it and for all the fond wishes of congratulations from listeners. It certainly was a great year for the show and I had a wonderful time being part of it.

Happy New Year! Boardgame Babylon is back with a new (okay, it was recorded in August) show in the Ascent and Dissent of the Friendly Online Game Store series.

In this show, Dave Jones from Time Well Spent (that's www.timewellspent.org - not the same thing with .com), joins me to talk about his experience running his successful online game store, his perspective on pricing and FLGSs and a little about the future of game retailing.

No new podcast yet (should be one up in a day or two) but I did jot down notes of the games I played on my vacation for the holidays from Dec. 22 through New Year's Eve.
